Micki Hill has served in the area of formation ministry in the Episcopal Church for over 20 years, focusing especially on scripture and liturgy. She is a passionate lay minister and advocate for children in the church. Having served as a member and chair of Lifelong Formation for the Diocese of Western North Carolina, she has worked with vestry, clergy and education teams focusing on creating environments that welcome children. Micki is a certified catechist and member of the National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). She has completed extensive training in all three levels of Catechesis and regularly participates in CGS workshops across the country. A dedicated gardener, Micki is married to a funny guy named Leon. Refusing to ‘empty the nest’ when their daughter left for college, they share life with dogs, cats and goats on five acres in Horse Shoe.
